Engaged
My co-worker and I both got engaged this last May. She got her ring about 2 weeks before me. It was fun. We would swap wedding ideas and yadda. Then in Sept. her fiancé started working for our company. Yay, good for them. Then they got in a fight and he left her and they broke up and he stopped coaching her kid’s football team. That really sucks and I feel awful for her. (And he still works for our company). So now when someone asks me how my wedding plans are going and she is in the area she either groans or makes a comment about how she used to be engaged… I don’t know how to handle this. I kind of feel guilty, but then not so much… I found a nice guy and he makes sure I know he loves me. I can’t wait to not be engaged anymore… I’m ready for the big party. :) (6 months from Saturday)!
